Uyuni is a small desert town that seems to serve primarily as a launching point for the Salar de Uyuni tours. The city is fairly spread out, though it’s easy to explore it within a couple hours. There are all sorts of epic metal sculptures scattered throughout the city and the three-story slide is a must see.
We stayed at Hotel Inti for the one night that we were there. We booked our Salt Flats tour with Oasis tours after we checked in, grabbed some burritos for dinner, and then woke up at 8 the next morning for our tour at 10:30AM.
